Accomodation

The International Office helps to organise accommodation for you. We cooperate with the Studentenwerk Stuttgart that owns and maintains several students` hostels in Stuttgart, many of them are situated near the campus or on the campus itself. The room price depends on its size and the facilities offered and ranges between €155 to €375 per month. Utility charges (heating, water etc.) are included.

Take into account that you have to bear an entire month’s rent even if you only stay for part of the month. In addition to that you should consider that you have to pay a month rent as bail money. You will get this money back when you move out but you have to calculate that you have to pay the amount of two monthly rents in the beginning of your stay.

All rooms are ready-furnished but they have no bedding.

Internet access to the university’s network in your room you can get for a monthly fee of €10 and a one-time registration fee of €18. More information on this you’ll get when you arrive in Stuttgart.

The team of the International Office will gladly reserve you a room in one of the students` hostels.

To get an impression of the accommodation offered by the Studentenwerk, have a look at their website: http://www.sws-internet.de/sws/wohnen/wohnheime/vaihingen/wohn_vaihingen.php

Unfortunately, it is not possible to consider specific accommodation requests, apart from exceptional circumstances.
