Stuttgart Media University (HdM)
Stuttgart Media University educates specialists and prepares them to enter the vast world of media. The University extensively covers all fields of media and equips graduates with a wealth of media industry knowledge.
Students can acquire bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees. The university offers 21 different areas of study, which are organized into three different faculties – Print & Media, Electronic Media and Information & Communication.
Lectures are primarily held in German, but there are also some offered in English. Approximately 3,400 students currently attend Stuttgart Media University.

Faculty Electronic Media
The Electronic Media Master belongs to the Faculty Electronic Media.
Media platforms like radio, television, film, DVD and the internet are combined in the program of Electronic Media.
Fields of study include media technology, media economics, production and design of audiovisual media and the examination and development of contents for electronic media. Since course content is similar, syllabi are closely interlinked.
Students are presented with great opportunities to do practical work in the university’s many state-of-the-art laboratories and studios.
